Endymion is a poem by John Keats, in which he describes a goddess-like woman, so beautiful and lovely he is compelled to worship her. His muse in real life was his neighbour, Fanny Brawne, about whom he wrote the poem Bright Star. Here, Keats expresses his longing to be as constant and unwavering as a star, which watches over the world with unending patience.
